Start your first outreach campaign

The Outreach page helps you organize playlist campaigns, track contacts, and manage your pitching workflow in one place. Use My Campaigns to group playlists by release or idea, My Contacts to review and filter curators, and Integrations to connect your tools.

Outreach features are available on the Artist Access plan and higher. You may see a "New Campaign" button when the feature is enabled for your account.

Create a campaign

  1. Navigate to Outreach in the sidebar.

  2. On the My Campaigns tab, click New Campaign.

  3. Enter a campaign name that reflects the release or idea you are pitching (e.g., "Summer Single - July 2026").

  4. Add a description if needed to keep track of your strategy.

Add playlists to a campaign

  1. From Playlist Search, use the Contacts filter to find playlists with reachable curators.

  2. Click the playlist to open its detail page.

  3. Go to the Contacts tab and choose your preferred contact method (Email, Instagram, SubmitHub, Groover, SubmitLink, Daily Playlists, or Other).

  4. Add the playlist to an existing campaign or create a new one directly from the contact card.

Manage contacts

On the My Contacts tab, you can filter and sort your curator list:

  • Relationship — Do Not Contact, Not Contacted, Not a Fit, Responsive, Contacted

  • Contacts — Email, Instagram, SubmitHub, Groover, SubmitLink, Daily Playlists, Other

  • Campaigns — In Any Campaign, In Active Campaign, In Completed Campaign, Not in a Campaign

  • Genres — Filter by the genres the curator's playlists cover

Use these filters to segment your outreach. For example, filter by Not Contacted + Has Email to build a list of fresh email targets.

Send emails from a campaign

  1. Open a campaign and select a playlist contact.

  2. Click Send Email or Open in Gmail to use a pre-filled template.

  3. Review the auto-populated subject, track name, and curator details.

  4. Edit the message to personalize it, then send.

Pre-filled templates include the curator's name and playlist name. Personalizing the first sentence increases response rates significantly.

Track campaign progress

Mark playlists as Contacted after you reach out. You can also mark them as Not a Fit or Do Not Contact to keep your list clean.

Use the My Contacts table columns to track:

  • Last interaction date

  • Number of playlists managed by each curator

  • Contact source (Email, Instagram, SubmitHub, etc.)
